Juniors will take the ACT for free during school in the Spring (February/March)!
This exam is similar to the SAT but the largest difference is that it contains a science section. It is accepted by all colleges across the country. NC juniors get to take a FREE ACT in the spring!
Sophomores take a free Pre-ACT in the fall.
This exam is similar to the ACT but is slightly longer. It is commonly taken on the East and West coast of the US. It is accepted by all colleges across the country.
The practice test for the SAT. This is usually taken sophomore year and can qualify you for the National Merit Scholarship! Space is limited, so make sure you sign up!
The minimum admissions requirements for a 4-year Public University In North Carolina are either an ACT score of at least 19 or an SAT score of at least 1010.
If you qualify for free or reduced lunch, you can get FEE WAIVERS for the SAT and the ACT! This means you can take each test 2 times FOR FREE! You can also send your test scores to colleges for free. See Mr. Nolte for more information.
