NCHS Tardy Policy

 

To minimize a loss of instructional time for your student(s), students who are tardy to class will be admitted to class after being checked into the ILC (Independent Learning Center), a referral will be entered into Educator's Handbook, and a consequence will be assigned. Students who fail to report to their assigned lunch detention will be assigned After School Detention. Repeat offenders of the NCHS tardy policy will receive more consequences from their assigned administrator.

 

Consequences:

 

1-2 Tardies -  Warning

3-6 Tardies - Lunch Detention 

**Missing a Lunch Detention results in After School Detention

7 -10 Tardies - After School Detention 

**Missing an After School Detention results in ISS

10 Tardies - Parent Conference 

11+ Tardies - Admin discretion for partial day or full day ISS
