The PBIS Team would like to begin acknowledging teachers who are demonstrating Positive Behavior Supports, proactive strategies, instructional strategies, and creating a positive culture/climate at NCHS.  Each month we will ask for certified and non certified PBIS “ROCK” Star Nominations from all staff.  The PBIS Team will review these nominations and select an award recipient.  This teacher will receive a traveling award, door decoration, and other special surprise goodies from the PBIS Team.  

Consideration Criteria for Nomination can include (but is not limited to):

-Consistently gives Shout Outs to students

-Consistently at assigned duty locations (morning, lunch, and/or after school) and on time

-Attends extra curricular activities/ supports students non instructionally

-Positive reteaching/ modeling/ practicing classroom behavior expectations

-Positive mindset/attitude

-Leadership roles throughout the building/non-instructional support

OUR FIRST "ROCK" STAR WILL BE AWARDED AT THE APRIL STAFF MEETING!!!
