There are several options for students to complete an internship while in high school.

AOHS students are encouraged to complete an 80+ hour internship for their NAF Track Certification. Students who did this will not only become NAF Track Certified, but will be presented with a STOLE to proudly wear at graduation!

Please click on the link to read over the required paperwork for an internship and then set up an appointment to meet with Mrs. Machado to discuss the expectations.

All AOHS students must have completed their required hours and returned the completed paperwork and completed culminating project no later than MARCH 1^st of their senior year.

What is NAF?

NAF Internship Packet

All AOHS students are encouraged to complete an internship in their junior or senior year to become fully NAF Track Certified (and to be able to wear a stole at graduation!) Internships should be in the health related field. If you complete an internship that is 135+ hours, you can also earn NAF Track status and earn an Honors credit for an internship and add to your transcript.

Please access the following documents, read thoroughly, set up a time to meet with Mrs. Machado to discuss details, and then complete the packet.

Guidelines and Expectations

You will need to print off several pages from the NAF Internship Packet and completely fill out and get the appropriate signatures.
